It is important in the prevention of ill health that employees receive appropriate advice and health care to prepare them for world travel.

In response, Independent Occupational Health has evolved services and expertise in the provision of our Travel Clinic.

Based on everyone’s Travel Plan our Travel Nurse can offer health advice dependent on destination and duration of stay. This advice will highlight the necessary precautions that should be taken prior to travel, inclusive of Pre Travel Vaccinations, and also the risks to health whilst abroad.

Pre-Travel Vaccinations

For many foreign destinations Pre Travel Vaccinations are a necessity for the prevention of ill health. It is also important to ensure that previous vaccinations are up-to-date and that immunity has been achieved.

We offer a number of Pre Travel Vaccinations at our Travel Clinic. When required, Serology Blood Tests are available to confirm immunity. The Independent Occupational Health Travel Clinic is an approved Yellow Fever Centre.

Hepatitis A & B

Typhoid

Polio

Diptheria

Tetanus

Yellow Fever

As some Pre Travel Vaccinations may be required to be undertaken over a period of up to a few months it is important to contact Independent Occupational Health as soon as you confirm your Travel Plan.
